I usually don’t make spontaneous purchases without doing my research (the many qualities of being a blogger) but I couldn’t really find any reviews on this new foundation which is what triggered the purchase. I went on a hunt for the new Revlon Skinlights Illuminators and my local Bed Bath & Beyond had them in stock. They had a tester which I thought was such a great idea but I wasn’t impressed at all. At first it looked nice when I put a drop in to the back of my hand but as I started to blend it out things to a turn for the worst, straight up glitter! If I used this as a highlighter I’d look like a disco ball! I was disappointed so I decided to pass. I then came across the Revlon Age Defying CC Cream Display, swatched that and immediately fell in love! Its texture is silky smooth once blended out and I can’t believe the finish its provided my skin with. This might just be my second favorite base of all time! My Bobbi Brown is still the number 1 contender. It has a higher coverage than your average tinted moisturizer but not cakey or pasty.I’ve applied this in so many different ways and find that it looks best applied with fingers or a sponge. It looks like actual skin and instantly gives a nice healthy glow. I advise you set with powder if you’re an oily skin type, dry skin types can probably get away with just wearing this on its own. It will cover up some hyper pigmentation but if you have blemishes or dark scarring you will need a concealer. This is great for everyday wear and contains an SPF of 30. It’s available in 4 different shades and I chose the shade Medium. I just can’t believe how good this stuff is and it’s from the drugstore! It was priced at $10.49 but if you sign up for BBB emails they will send you a 20% off coupon. It does contain parabens and silicones so keep that in mind if those are no no’s for you. There is no complaints on my end so kudos to Revlon, this one is a keeper!
